Sooo. Essentially, I know I'll be talking to myself as I know I'm FAAAAR from being widely known but I needed to put in this journal entry for myself. I went back and looked at my old artwork. I had a blast from the past and did not like it one bit. Sure, each artist is entitled to feel that way about their old artwork, but I genuinely did not like what I saw. So I'll be slowly but surely redrawing new versions of old pictures, be it fan-art or original characters. I'm hoping it will not only be a change of pace, but a welcome improvement to my severely lacking gallery in terms of quality and quantity.
Speaking of original characters, the crappy descriptions you might have read for them no longer apply, I'll get around to deleting said descriptions soon. My long plans for writing a story since 8th grade are out the window as of now because it takes too much time and actual writing talent, which I find myself to be lacking. Plus a story thought up in 8th grade doesn't really translate the same way 8 years later. So until further notice, they're just characters who happen to have names and personalities, nothing more.
As for fan-art, I'll be drawing characters that I actually like from series that I have watched and enjoyed and games I have played and thought were awesome. I'm not going to be an attention whore drawing everything popular under the sky to get page views. I'm refraining from requests unless they're from personal friends or for a special occasion.
On another note, I might dabble in photo, realism, and abstract work.
